Uh, I hate to be... Y'know... "That guy," but, that's not a dragon, it's a wyvern.
But, this is pretty cool. Is has the look of a ruler of its kind.

Beautiful painting! :D Very well done I must say. The background is also nice, & I wouldn't worry about it.
Also... your dragon here reminds me so much of the golden dragon from Ninjago.... I know that might sound a bit strange, but it really dose have very similar features.
