#HectorZeroni. Can't say I see it catching on, though. Even when I found out his name was Hector, he was still Zero to me. And I mean that affectionately.

I really love the way Holes is written... Everything comes full circle and gets neatly tied up and the story is so satisfying. Not a huge fan of the sequel, Small Steps, however.

I read Holes a long time ago and liked it (I don't remember a ton about it now, though...), never read Small Steps though. What's it about?

Stanley and Zero aren't even in it. It's about Armpit (which isn't bad). It's just that the story is so lackluster compared to the first. Basically, Armpit falls in love with this pop star and he saves her from getting kiIIed by her manager...it's weird.

Thanks for the awesome comment!! Your art style is really cool! I read Holes 4 years ago, so I can't remember it very well, but it was definitely one of my favorite reads! I loved the little flashbacks to explain his family history and stuff.
