She's a village spirit in Northern Japan whom the villagers have nicknamed "Mekakushi" or blindfold. The little ones call her "Mekki". One day she showed up to help an elderly woman carry home her groceries & help around the house. When she takes off her blindfold, she sees demons & things that as soon as she removes it, she is attacked by them. She can manage with her sense of smell and acute hearing, but she also uses her tails like whiskers, feeling walls and the ground with them. #SSRefs
