Part fairytale, legend, and history. I always liked the versions where the fey folk were involved. It seems so likely, with the magic of Merlin.

This is soooo out of my comfort zone for drawing, so please forgive my errors. Especially the fact that Excalibur is so plain. I don't often try to draw something like this straight out of my mind.
