The story behind this is basically that my Spanish II class was told to make murals for Mexican Independence Day. Each team had an artistic captain, who was chosen by our teacher. I was one of the captains, pretty much why I came up with the rough draft. When all of the class was done, each team selected their favorite mural. Each team picked their own (figures, even me). So the teacher and his as.sistant picked the winning mural. Ours was the teachers favorite, and the unanimous winner. We celebrated, stapled it to the wall outside of the cla.ssroom, like all the others who won, walked back in, and sat down to hear "That one was so uncreative. It took, like, NO effort." I immediately turned around and spat "Excuse you, that was MY idea." He just replied, "Pf, still uncreative." "/EXCUSE YOU/."

I turned back around, p!ssed, and started drawing my new OC, Echo, (who I'll introduce later) and started flat out ranting. Much like this.

If you think my ideas are SO uncreative.....

I'd oh-so love for you to do better. If you're actually joking about all of this, guess what? No one's laughing. I ain't havin' that sh.it.

I even crushed two cans of soda in my anger. And I was so p!ssed I was crying. Just watch your back, sir. You'll never know who could be trying to stab it.

To everyone, do NOT get on my bad side. Almost no one does, but there have been those times, this being one of them.

Nothing quite like someone insulting your hard work and creativity to get the anger flowing. Speaking from experience.

But still, not even Internet hate. Saying things like that with all the creators of the work only a few feet away, well within earshot.

I'd expect them to at least tell him that he messed up.
Perhaps he'll even apologize, but, knowing highschool kids, I wouldn't put money on it.

something like that happened to me before i was drawin a short comic. and a boy who bullys me said he could better when his rasist self draws dumb stick figures i hate him so much. people may say that your uncreative but you shouldn't let that tik you off my brother always hates what i draw and i hate him soo much for that. but with great talent theres at least SOMEONE whos going to say something just try not to let it get to you. I'd hate to see you get upset ok

Sorry to hear that this guy was being a b.utt. I'd try to ignore him, as a lot of people who try to annoy others do it for the attention and a reaction.
I've been there.

Some people just don't understand how creative process works. People have tried to tell me to my face that Im uncreative as well and how I'll never be a good artist. It hurts to see others I look up to get hurt by the same words so I just want to say not to let anyone bring you down. Some people will be hurtful, but know that there are many people who know how unique, creative, and spontaneous you and your work is. So f.uck that guy, and anyone who brings you down, because many know he and those people are wrong. Just thought I'd say some words of encouragement :)
