One fine night, Matrix and Jouigi were having a nice dinner at Denny's('cause they couldn't think of anywhere else to go).

Matrix: That was a delicious dinner, bunbun! What's even better is that you're paying for it all!

Jouigi: (Thoughts: Uh oh...There goes my Pokemon money. ;-;) Anything for you, my sweet! What kind of boyfriend would I be if I let YOU pay for it?

Matrix: Probably the kind that would rather play with his virtual animals than go on a date with me...Hey, aren't you going to finish your spaghetti?

Jouigi: Nah, I'm saving some room for desert.

The waitress comes by their table to see what else they want.

Waitress: Can I get you anything else?

Jouigi: Yes, I would like some apple pie a la mode with extra ice cream please. You want anything, Matrix?

Matrix: No, I'm fine...

Waitress: Coming right up!

The waitress now leaves. Meanwhile, Matrix has a worried look on her face as if Jouigi has a problem. And indeed, he did.

Matrix: Jo, can we please talk about your ice cream eating habits? I think they're getting out of hand...

Jouigi: What are you talking about? I've never felt better ever since Fuchsia dumped me and I started eating ice cream to drown out the pain of being rejected by someone who was clearly not my type. How's that out of hand?

Matrix: You see, that's it right there. You eat ice cream to drown out your problems. However, doing that itself is a problem. So I think you should quit...

Jouigi: *gasp* QUIT EATING ICE CREAM?!?! MY ONE TRU-er...I mean, my SECOND true love?! You're crazy!!

Matrix: You're the one who's crazy eating all of that ice cream, blue bunny!

And just when Jouigi was about to speak, the waitress returns with the dessert.

Waitress: Your apple pie a la mode, sir. Shall I get your check now?

Jouigi: Yes, please. We are quite satisfied tonight!

The waitress leaves once again to get the check to pay for Jouigi & Matrix's food. As she does, Jouigi gobbles up the frosty ice cream before even eating the pie itself. It seemed as though there was a purple mist that came out of Jouigi's mouth when he burped. It was the Obsession Shadow trying to escape. Matrix gave a s.uspi.cious look seeing that purple mist.

Matrix: Look, Jo...There's a reason that I want you to stop eating ice cream. It's because it's not good for your health if you eat too much. I want what's best for you and only what's best for you. That's the reason I love you. So if you love me back, please show me that you can promise me to stop eating ice cream for at least a week. That's all I ask! One week. Can you please do that for me, Jo?

Jouigi seemed a little disappointed in making the promise. But that didn't stop him from being loyal to his "Maddie".

Jouigi put one hand on his chest and the other facing up as he makes his promise.

Jouigi: My love, you have nothing to worry about. For I shall not consume anymore ice cream from here on until one week from now. That's a promise I will never break no matter what happens.

Matrix: I knew I can count on you, sweetie! I'm counting on you. Good luck! :3

The waitress comes and puts the check on the table. After a few seconds, Jouigi slowly slides it by Matrix.

Matrix: Jouigi!!

Jouigi: *slides check back towards him* Just kidding! dB
