Me too. It took me 6 years to finish my animal drawing style....
I hope anime doesn't take that long... :( I have NO sense of human anatomy, that's why I use bases and then EVERYTHING looks perfect! Without bases - faaaaail.
Sometimes if I try really hard, I can draw a human without a base or ref...lol.
If I could have ONE wish, based on a practical thing, I'd wish for anime drawing skills. lolz
