From a simple concept, you can create bigger ideas (obvious). Ramen Fairy? A fairy with the power of delicious noodles? Saving a village from disaster! Use the noodles to defeat evil... and the ultimate goal to create the perfect ramen!
...my ideas are weird, so it might be hard to get a good adventure with this method (I tend to add humor to nearly every random idea). lawl.

For good characters, don't just include a brief bio. and physical description. Include things like their birthday, quirks, favorite thing, blood type, family, and so on.
