Departure by Stalker Blade

I'm sending my ds to get fixed. I registered it, made an account on like 20 websites, and now they SHOULD accept it..I'll be sending it in this week, so I won't be on...I have no idea when it'll get back either, but if someone who has experience with stuff like this, how long will it take? Will I lose my system memory? Do they just replace the system?...That's pretty much all I'm worried about. But yeah, later everyone! :u

Ive only had experience with sending in a Wii and they didnt do anything to the system other than replace some messed up parts in the disc drive (I dont remember how long it took though), so hopefully yours will be perfectly fine afterwards.
Hope it gets fixed up soon enough, cya :V

I've never sent anything in for repair before, so I have no idea how long it takes...

But bye. I hope it won't take long for them to fix and send it back! We'll miss you, even if only for some few weeks!

no one's forcing you to stay. Maybe if you had a link to another social media w/ art on it, it would just feel like you're moving?

I sent mine in, so I can tell you stuff relating to it:
Take out your SD card
Mine came back in three weeks
If its a brand new one (like mine -_-) that gets sent back to you just put back in the SD and you should have everything!

I sent it off 3 times because it was a DSi and they always break//
It took a month for me because Nintendo literally lost my DSi while repairing it to I had to get a new one. ._.

It takes a week to a month depending on the damage, if it's really bad they'll just transfer the memory of your original 3DS onto a new one. :v

It took a weekend for Nintendo to fix my 3DS touch screen.

Nothing happens to your 3ds other than it being repaired cx and it takes like two weeks, I remember I sent mine a week before Animal Crossing New Leaf came out, and I thought it'd be back in time but I had just the game for a good week before I got to play it ;-;

what I think is, if it can't be repaired, they replace the system with a new everything, and transfer the data from the old one

I've had mine fixed before. They notify you if there's a problem by email, so check that regularly while it's away. Unless it is declared unfixable, you will receive the your system in working condition in 3-4 weeks. If your 3DS can't be fixed, they'll send you a new one (providing you either have the money or your warranty is still intact) with all your data transferred to that one. If you're sending for free and it wasn't a factory error, however, you will have to pay for it. If you pay online within like a week of notice, they'll still fix it. However, if you do not, they will send it back unrepaired.

I know these things because I've had my 3DS break twice. The first time was a manufacturing error with the touch screen. I sent my 3DS to Nintendo and they sent it back in perfect condition (excluding minor scratches and whatnot). Then, later, as in, February, it broke again. I was unaware of this, but something (probably water) spilled on it and it won't turn on. They emailed me that this was the problem and asked me to pay. I didn't pay in time and they sent it back. It's still broken, and now I'm just gonna wait for the new 3DS.

Sob story aside, I also forgot that after they fix it, 1 full year is added to your warranty.

I had to send my 3DS off to be repaired because the top screen stopped working. At first they thought they fixed it but I had to send it off again and they just replaced the system that time. If they have to replace the system they will just copy the system memory over if they can and if you use an SD card it will remain untouched.
For me, the whole trip for my system to and back was 2-4 weeks, but depending on
how close or far you live to the nearest Nintendo Headquarters it may take less or more time.
Hope it gets fixed well, have fun until you come back :)

Reply: I kind of made Rocky look a bit younger. xD And whoa, you're right, there are a few others. One of 'em is a friend of mine. But you're the only one, other than him, that I know of. :b

And hope your 3DS gets fixed soon. Do you have an acc. in any other art website than here?
