It's acually the Norm for the comics to have a human protagonist, with their Pokemon at his/her side. My Idea was pretty out of the box.

Re: haha. never thought Mewtwo as my dad. It was this fictional (sort of imaginary) character that appeared during my announcement. Ever since it's been keeping Chukapi hostage until I finish my pokemon collab.

I dont know. The only ones I know for sure are Teams Magma, Aqua, and Volt. No one else from any other team has said anything to me about it...
