Yeah, he's part of a race of beings with scythes that reap souls, but also have wings? They hate to be confused with angels though. They are a different species than humans, but the only real difference is the wings(can be manifested and hidden at will) and their scythe(which is technically an extension of their body, they kind of call it forth??idk). The scythes can vary in design depending on who they belong to.
