@Ceta: I know she is alive. :) The Bible says the soul that sins will die, and animals do not sin against God. All life goes back to God, and I belive your beloved friend is at peace in heaven. Just have faith knowing God will take care of everything and that all things work together for good for those that trust in Him. :)

Yes, many of those stories are facinating. While there are cases of hallusinations, the ligit out of the body experiances often reveal things that the person would have know way of knowing otherwise. They also always match up with the Bible.

@Chuk: Yes, I loved that story so much. And everything he said and saw matched up with what the Bible said. It was very charming and touching. Some of the things he said I found really awesome.

@Ceta:(Apologies for late reply) It depens on what your belief is. Would a person feel beter haveing hope that death in this world is only temporary & that we will someday see our loved ones again in a world free from death & distruction? Or if the belived there was nothing to live for & that once you die you just disapear from existance?

That is not to say that we will not still hurt from pain. Things like this will still hurt, and sometimes you may feel hoplessly traped fearing there is no way out. That is when you should look up & know that God can save you for Hemis capable of ALL things, both big AND small.
