their animal self effects their appearance some way or another, ie, it doesn't have to be ears and a tail it can be anything animal-like
i have a duoquae OC who can turn into a parrot and she has feathers on her legs and arms and bird-like facial features whereas another duoquae OC of mine has feathers on her shoulders and that's it, but she can turn into a swan as easily as said OC could turn into a parrot

duoquae can only be born in Markolio because of a ginormous tree called the Materabor which releases toxins that effect the heart of the child (it's magic ok) which in turn gaurantees they're born duoquae ORRR sidundri which means that in some cases it only effects the appearance of the child (for example #virii) so they can't actually turn into their animal counterpart but still have the characteristics of it

this brings us to unumquae: all that means is that they have one form which is their human self, they can't take any other forms just like you or me, v simple, most of my OCs are unumquae

OMNIQUIDIA: wowsers ok these guys can not only turn into anything living or not, they can also, if choosingly, experience the emotion of anything, again, living or not
these are very very very very v v v v v rare there's maybe one in a million of them and the world of Clad isn't very big!!!!
Ague who i've only introduced on my sketch acc is an omniquidia and it's crazy rare that Alloya would be able to meet one in her lifetime
omniquidi can be born anywhere!

lastly cenclausi: these are pretty much unrelated to unums duos sindrundri and omnis but still pretty much fall in the same category; cenclausi can't cast magic
pretty easily explained i think ? they can create potions stuff but cannot animate any magic at all whatsoever nope nuh uh
