*Endling wanders around, a bit lost in the Shadow realm/world*

*Destyn is walking along while Kyle lurks in his shadow when they see Endling*
Destyn: are you lost?

Endling: "A bit..." *it flicks it's tail*

Destyn: would you like help? *Kyle seeps up from Destyn's shadow and looks at the Endling cautiously and draws alittle bit closer to it, trying to figure out who or what he is and if whether or not he's dangerous*

Endling: "I don't know..."
*watches Kyle*

Destyn: what do you don't know? *he notices Kyle and pushes him away from the Endling*

Endling: "Well.... idk... "

Kyle: what are you? and how did you get here?
Destyn: do you have a name?

Endling: "I am an Endling. I don't have a name. And idk how I got here..."

Kyle: what's an Endling?
Destyn: do you have any idea where you wanna go?

Endling: "we are... idk what we are like, really... and idk where to go."

Destyn: oh... uhm... do you wanna come with us then...?
Kyle: .....

Endling: "y-yes, please..."

Destyn: alright... well you can come stay with me in the castle. *he points over at a castle that shimmers with light, the Shadow World is actually a planet that's imploded but the particles have been suspended by powerful gravitational magic, the particles are linked by bridges*

Endling: "o-ok..."

*Destyn turns and begins leading the way to the castle, Kyle slinks along behind em with his head slightly lowered, as they walk the sound of wind and faint whispering can be heard through the planet particles but Destyn nor Kyle seems to care*

*Endling silently follows*

*Kyle leaves them at a fork in the road and Destyn and the Endling keep going*
Destyn: so do you just not have a name or are you not allowed to have one?

Endling: "I just dun got one."

Destyn: well...i can't just keep calling you Endling. even if you have no idea exactly what you are or where you came from. it just doesn't feel right.

Endling: "Oh, I know where I came from and who I am. It's just hard to explain to being from different universes... i just lack a name."

Destyn: well would you like to be called by something while you stay with me? oh, and if you have any comments, concerns, or questions you can ask me.

Endling: "if you want to give me a name, go ahead. i dun mind."

Destyn: hmm.... *he thinks about whether or not he should give the Endling a name or not and while he's thinking they reach the castle*

*endling follows*

Destyn: here we are, when we go in we have to be quiet. *he opens the door for the Endling*

*endling quietly enters*

*Destyn leads him up to the floor with all the rooms on it and stops in front of the door at the end of the hall* this room is mine, but you can have your pick of any of the rooms on this room

*he picks a close room*

Destyn: would you like anything to eat i can ask the chefs to make us something?

Endling: "eh, idk.. whatever you feel like doing."
[they really don't have their own wills, do they <xD]

Destyn: o-o uhh... let's just hang out. we can talk i guess.

Endling: "If that is what you want to do."

*Destyn leads him to a sitting with a decorative coffee table in the middle of the room with a couch on one side and a couple arm chairs across from it, all of this is sitting infront of a fire place* please take your choice of seats *he plops down on one end of the couch*
(Destyn really doesn't know how to handle the Endling XD )

*Endling sits on the floor*
Endling: "It's nice in here."

*Destyn briefly wonders why the Endling chooses to sit on the floor but doesn't question the choice* thank you. *the fire has a slight orange coloring to it*

Endling: "So you live here?"

Destyn: mhmm, for the time being atleast...

Endling: "I kinda like it here." :3

*Destyn smiles sadly* most do...

Endling: "huh?"

Destyn: i don't like it here right now... my father.... *he stares at the fire forlornly*

Endling: "he isn't being the nicest to ya?"

Destyn: he's trying to force me into an arranged marriage. so...i either accept and leave to go who knows where with some stranger against my will. or i do what it takes to avoid getting married...

Endling: "idk, it seems like a tough situation..... "

Destyn: i'm probably gunna just run away. i don't wanna leave my home. but it looks like i have no other options.

Endling: "if that is what you feel like doing... idk what it's like to be in your position."

Destyn: i don't know what it's like living out on other planets though. and if they send out a search party and track me down i could be executed for treason... i don't wanna be executed... i don't know what to do. *he hugs his knees to his chest*

Endling: "maybe convey to your father that this is extremely upsetting you, idk.... idk, idk."

Destyn: i've told him, but he's the king, and what the king says goes. i guess that since he's been offered a large amount of money that my feelings don't matter.

Endling: "maybe give the marriage a chance. you might like the guy, idk..."

Destyn: i've met him. i even went into the meeting open-minded. he's a scum bag.

Endling: "ugh, idk.... it's tough.."

(sorry, i just got home from school)
*Destyn shivers* i think i'm gunna run away...

Endling: "If you don't see any way out, then, yea. it's ur choice."

*Destyn hears acouple voices coming from outside the room*

*Endling stays quiet*

*Destyn hesitates then recognises the voices and springs up out of his seat in alarm and drags the Endling into a wardrobe in one of the corners of the lounge right before the doors open*

Endling: o-o

*Destyn motions for him to be quiet, as the voices of the people in the lounge belong to his father and the prince that Destyn is supposed to marry, they seem to be having a casual conversation*

*endling stays quiet*

*they talk casually for a few more minutes and then their voices turn serious, Destyn puts his ear to the door and listens; they're talking about the conditions of the marriage* ...!?

Endling: "......."

*Destyn pushes the door of the wardrobe open just enough for them to see into the lounge, a man that looks just an older version of Destyn is sitting across from a younge and handsome brunette guy, they're playing a game of chess while they discuss the marriage* .......

Endling: "....."

*the two are completely focused on their game, Destyn and the Endling have the perfect oppurtunity to escape, so Destyn pulls the Endling out of the wardrobe and they hide in the shadows as they leave the lounge*

*Endling silently just goes with it*

Destyn: i'm leaving tomorrow.....

Endling: "if that is ur wish..."

*Destyn sighs and his breath is shaky, he's heart broken about his father's choice*

*Endling rubs his back*

*tears start rolling down Destyn's cheeks and he slumps down against a wall onto the floor*

*endling hugs him*

*Destyn hugs him back, he rarely cries but he can't take it anymore* most people who are having an arranged wedding at least have a good reason for having to go through with it...like security or financial problems... or if it'll bring about a truce between two warring nations... but this is none of those..... it's just greed and selfishness...

Endling: "shh..."
*Endling hugglez him*

*he continues crying*

Endling: "this is your life. take control of the situation. stand up for yourself."

Destyn: i'm running away... i don't know where i'm going or how i'll get there... but i'm goin'.

Endling: "Then go, if that is your desire."

*Destyn gets up* do you want to stay here?

Endling: "nah. i'll go with you."

*Destyn smiles* ok, i'm gunna go grab a few things out of my room and write a letter to Kyle real quick *he runs off to his room quickly*

Endling: "ok..."

*Destyn hurriedly writes a letter down to Kyle explaining the situation and sends it to him then quickly grabs an ornate black box that contains a flute made of white gold then rushes back to the Endling* alright, was there anything you needed before we left?

Endling: "No."

Destyn: alright... *he begins leading the way out of the castle but stops and turns around when he hears the voices of his father and the prince and goes the alternate route*

*Endling follows him closely*

*they make it out the castle and Destyn leads the Endling to a floating island that has a bunch of portals to other worlds/realms* hey... thank you... for hugging me back there.

Endling: "no prob..."

Destyn: it was comferting... *looks around absently at all the portals, unsure of which one to take*

Endling: "decisions..."

Destyn: yeah... i've only been to a few of these places.....

*endling waits for him to choose*

*Destyn looks at all the worlds that actually have color and has to blink his eyes repeatedly as his eyes aren't accustomed to so many vivid colors*

Endling: "choose one. you can't wait forever."

*Destyn's eye catches on a portal emitting a gentle blue light and looks into it, it's a world of crystal with all different types of species from all different realms/worlds living together peacefully, they would be considered rebels on their own planets* i wanna go there...

Endling: "then let's go."

*Destyn steps into the portal and takes a deep breath*

*endling follows*

*once the portal transports them Destyn has to blink his eyes several times to try and accustom them to the sudden color*

Endling: "Well, we're here.."

Destyn: and it looks fantastic. there's so many people...

Endling: "yea..."

Destyn: are you alright?

Endling: "i'm fine."

Destyn: alright.. *he looks around a bit*

*Endling looks around as well*

*Destyn sees a market place in the distance*

Endling: "Should we head there?"

Destyn: probably. we can see if there'll be anything we need in there.

Endling: "yea."

*Destyn keeps a tight hold on his flute case and walks into the market place*

*Endling is right at his side*

*he looks at all the various roadside stalls and in all the actual shop windows*

Endling: "Anything look good to you?"

Destyn: nothing so far. i might need to find a traveling cloak though...

Endling: "yes."

Destyn: we can get one for you too

*endling buys 2 cloaks for them*

Destyn: you didn't have to buy. i could've payed... *he was raised on the concepts of manners and selfless-ness, ironically*

Endling: "nah, it's fine. i have plenty of money."

*Destyn opens his mouth about to protest but changes his mind* thank you...

Endling: "no prob."

*he takes one of the cloaks and puts it on, but it's alittle bit too long*

*Endling puts on his*
Endling: "I can trim it to fit you later, k?"

*Destyn nods and pulls the hood up*

Endling: "Where to next?"

Destyn: wanna find somewhere to rest?

Endling: "sure."

*he walks throughout the market place looking for the inn*

*Endling looks around beside him*

*Destyn finally spots the inn* over there!

Endling: "let's go." :3

*Destyn grabs the Endling's arm and runs over to the inn*

*Endling runs with him*

Destyn: looks like a nice enough looking place. *he goes to rent them a room for two*

Endling: "yea." :3
