Ninendo gave the 3DS steroids and decided to call it something new.

It kind of annoys me that it'll get some exclusive games (like a port of Xenoblade Chronicles) because of its slightly better capabilities.

I needed a new 3DS anyway, besides it's good for Monster hunter ^w^ and other good games.
My screen was too small anyway for drawing.

It's just the Ds and Dsi, the Dsi was an upgrade from the Ds, and the Dsi got Dsiware, and the Ds didn't. It's the same thing, much improved but not 'quite' the next handheld generation. I might get one but depends on what, as you may say, "Dsiware" the 3DS Pro (as I like to call it) gets.
