RE: ya- you kind of have to ta make sure it fits XD circumference is like how a belt goes around your waist. it ends up looking like a circle with the measuring tape. Where the end of the tape meets a mark on the tape is your measurement. Honestly, i was thinking of making a video explaining all of them XD a lot of people have had questions about them. I'll make a quick video tonight and post it on youtube ^-^ i'll send ya a link on FA once i upload it. I'll also notify you here and tell you the name of the video in case you cant get on a computer.

get a piece of fabric or string and use it like you would a measuring tape, but after "measuring" with the fabric/string- instead put the fabric/strring ontop of the measuring thing your using, and measure that XD hope that isnt too confusing.
just measure the string after using it to get you length you aquire XD
