Phantom Shift: Ch 3 by Larka

Chapter Two: Infection

A continuation of the previous story so far. Honesty though, I NEED FEEDBACK ON THE STORY, so please comment and tell me what you think.
If no one is bothering to read it then I'll simply stop and just return to doing regular pictures.

PART 1: As I store down at my hands I feared the worse, I was possibly sick with some sort of dangerous disease. My mind immediately went to possible flu-strains that might jump the spechies barrier, the sight of Steel Cat weezing sickenly played over and over in my head. I cursed my situation, stranded here possibley sick with no modern medicine at hand. I realized my only option was to find the escape-pod that Steel Cat found and salvage the first-aid kit before my symptomns got worse. As I quickly walked back to try to figure out on the maps where Steel Cat found the escape-pod, several natives began peppering me with questions such as "Ice Bat, you don't look so good, what's wrong?" or "You look scared Ice Bat, was it something Steel Cat did?". That night I poured all my energy into narrowing down the possible areas where the escape-pod was on the map, by the time that I could barely keep myself awake I had marked five possible locations down on the map.

PART 3: I told myself that first thing the next morning I would go to these five locations and search for the escape-pod's first-aid kit. As I finally lay down to sleep my stomach began turning and cracking like I ate some bad chili, I secretly hoped it was just from the nastly fruits I had ate previously. I awoke the next morning to a horrible pain in my chest and abdomen, my temperature was dangerously feverish. Several of the natives were kneeling over me and placing odd leaves on my head and arms. As I tried to get up the pain became even worseand I slumped back down in the makeshift bed. I tried to talk but my tongue was swollen and I could barely mutter a proper word, instead I pointed feebley at the marked map over and over hoping that they would understand what I was trying to say. All I really remember next besides the horrible stomach and abdomen pain was the constant stream of black liquid that I constantly coughed up over and over again like a tide of ink.

PART 3 (Not 2): The only thing I could do besides laying there in agony was to try to sleep, though sleep is no easy task when you're that sick. When I could sleep I was plagued constantly by horrific nightmares, being haunted and torn to shreds by horrific inhuman mmonsters. After what felt like an eternity suddenly several of the natives arrived with what I could only describe at that time as a pure miracle. Somehow they found the first-aid kit, as the showed it to me I used all my strength left to open it and search for the Anti-Viral chemicals, to my shock there was only one packet left. If I had been more lucid perhaps I would of wondered where the other ones were or perhaps considered the possibility that the other survivors may of used them. After taking the packet I was sure that this mysterous virus would be purged from my system and it would only be a matter of time. I weakly drifted back into sleep, hoping that when I awoke the virus would be erradicated.

PART 4: That night I awoke to the horrible agony of my bones feeling as though they were all brocken and fractured. My limbs were aflame and my teeth felt as though they had been pulled out by a cheap wanna-be dentist who flunked out of grammer school. I was barely aware of several of the natives chanting over me in a strange languge, like some pagen cannibal ritual. The rest soon became a horrible blur of pain, horror, waking nightmares, and things no living man nor woman should ever go through. After what almost felt like a thousand lifetimes I slowly opened my eyes to find that the pain was no longer there. It was dawn and the morning sunlight pierced through the cracks of the doorway like the harbringers of a new day. As I weakly sat up in bed I immediately realised something was deathly wrong. When I looked at my hands a great horror exploded in my soul and I sceamed out in pure insane terror.... THEY WERE NOT MY HANDS!!!!

Just read all this. Haven't had the time, but have been super interested.

I like how the plot is getting dark, rather than being all happy-go-lucky furritude.
I never noticed before how well your writing skills are. Very enjoyable read, Larka. Looking forward to more c:

If this were a full-fledged novel, I'd buy it. :D It may need a little more elaboration to make it longer, but for a 3ds book, it's pretty good.
