no, your art is great. commenting does helps get your name out there becuase when people sees your comment they visit your gallery. then when they see your nice art, on top of that you also left a nice comment, they likely to follow. :D

And also, you're just starting off! ^^ I've been on a whole year and a half and can't get back to 170, because I lost about fourty followers due to something Colors! did to handle deleted accounts differently. It took months to get one-hundred fifty back, don't worry! You'll get more.
