"It's a disguise. Y'know, so you can walk down the street without being arrested."
"Right." He dug though the bag and pulled out a pair of sunglasses. "Wait, what are these for?"
"You're going to have 'wanted' posters with your face on them all over the city. You need to cover up your eyes, at least."
"Ok."
"Now, if you'll excuse me, I have an errand I have to run. Au Revoir." Phantom C said, waving and climbing down the fire escape. After she left, Raphael changed clothes.
As he draped the silver pocket-watch around his neck and put the sunglasses over his eyes, he said to Fondue, "How about we go see what we can find?"
The pair walked around the city, passing the Arc De Triomphe, the Louvre, and the Eiffel Tower. They were walking through the Market when Phantom R heard something as he passed an alleyway.
"I promise, that's all I have! Please, leave me alone!"
The phantom glanced around, then walked cautiously down the alley, following the voices.

"I think we need that hair barrette, madamoiselle. Silver has a good value nowadays."
"HEY!"
The two thugs turned to see who had arrived.
"Alors,who might you be?" The bigger thug said.
"No one of importance. Now I suggest you give her stuff back, and leave."
"Like we'd take orders from a runt with a puppy," the thug laughed. "Jacques. Take care of him."
The second thug ran at Phantom R. He threw a punch once...twice...and then the boy crouched down and knocked his opponent off of his feet. The man landed on the ground with a thud and was knocked out.
"Oui. You're pretty good," the other man said.
"I know some tricks."
"Hmm hmm. But can you beat ME?"
The man, much larger than the boy, charged at him, running full-speed-ahead. Phantom R backed himself up against a wall.
"Afraid?!" The thug sneered, almost to the phantom.
At the last minute, the phantom dropped to the ground. The thug ran head-on into the wall and was knocked out.
Phantom R stood up and snapped his fingers. (Con't)

"Afraid? That's not in my vocabulary."
Phantom R approached the dark figure that was still curled up in the dark corner.
"You're alright now. I promise." He held out his hand.
"How do I know you're not lying? You could be just like them." The thief picked up the change purse that was next to his foot and tossed it to the woman.
"Trust me. I've got bigger things to worry about." He held his hand out again. She took it and he helped her to her feet.
Stepping out of the shadows, Phantom R finally got a good look at who he had saved.
"Marie?!"
The confused girl looked him up and down, from head to toe. "Who are you?"
"I-it's me! Raphael!"
"You can't possibly be Raphael."
"But I am!"
"Prove it."
"Well, for one thing, you grew up at a convent with a guy named Jean-Francois. You play the vi.olin. I saved you from the Chevaliers Diabolique. Fondue is my dog, Isaac is my dad, and the last time we saw eachother was a year ago."
"Okay, okay, I believe you!"Marie said, smiling.

"But why are you dressed like that?"
"It's a long story. So let's just say I'm in a lot of trouble."
