Quicksilver first met his link many years ago, long before the destruction of the planet Kye, when Quicksilver was still a friendly, active dragon.
Every one hundred decades or so, a massive ceremony was held in the main city of Kye where all the suragons gathered. From there, along with the dragons, were brought many unique beasts that you wouldn't find on earth, such as angels, demons, fairies, satyrs, centaurs, and many more mythical beings from distant lands. The great ceremony was held especially for the suragons, that they might discover their link.

Quicksilver, a friendly light gray ice suragon met his destined link there. (I haven't come up with how they met, so I'll skip that part XD) The link was a tall, erect satyr with a professor's coat and unmistakable deer legs. A small brown beard was growing on his chin and a pair of curled horns poked out of his hair. The moment Quicksilver saw the faun, he knew he was the one. (I don't know how they become links, so I'll skip that as well :P)

Quicksilver and the faun were meant for each other. They got along well and enjoys teaching their knowledge to one another. Whenever the professor studied (he read books so often that he ended up buying the village's library, and now the two live in there XD), the gray suragon would curl up behind the desk and stare at the open books. Silver's link always shoved his muzzle away, complaining about how much faster the dragon learned than him. The peaceful days repeated, and Quicksilver wished those days would always be like that... until that fateful day.

It happened so suddenly. Q's link was down with a fever, but Quicksilver could not make medicine due to his unability to handle herbs, and before he knew it... the professor had di.ed. Quicksilver was convinced it was his fault, because of his icy body. The only heat that came from him was as cold as night. The neighboring villagers and suragons blamed Silver, saying that he stayed too close to the faun and ended up freezing him. Depressed and afraid of himself, Quicksilver fled to a distant land, covered in snowcapped mountains, far from any life. He crawled into an ice cavern and fell into a deep sleep that lasted centuries at a time, only waking to eat when he was starved. Silver hid away for so long that he lost track of the years. He buried the good and bad menories so far back that it was useless trying to remember, and eventually, he forgot the name of his link.

Quicksilver woke up one day to see his cavern moist and collapsing. He stumbled to the entrance of the cave and saw the land blazing and hot, dark clouds of smoke rising up eternally. Terrefied, Silver flew from the site, attempting to escape the flames that englufed the planet. He flew and flew until his tired wings finally gave in, and he plummeted into the endless dark that would be his dea.th.

Quicksilver didn't expect his eyes to open again. It felt like it had been decades, but he was still alive. Silver lay sprawled in a quiet field of snow that he believed to be some sort of paradise. Sitting up, the weak suragon turned his head around until the too-close face of a deer landed in his vision. Shocked, he tumbled back into the snowdrifts. Upon seeing the deer, many unwanted memories of the faun flooded his mind. The cold memories horrified him, and he turned his back on the animal. The deer that happened to be a she offered him some food, but he avoided her and acted uninterested. Day after day she put up with his stubbornness. Tundra's kindness (she told him her name) seeped into Silver's frozen heart, and finally, the icey cover slid away and Quicksilver welcomed her presence. He slowly softened up to her, and soon they were as close together as Quicksilver had geen with his link.

Later on, Tundra (from her point of view) explained that Quicksilver had mysteriously appeared on the land of Greenland, a piece of land on the planet earth. Horrid creatures with horns on their metal-capped heads called Vikings ruled the seas around them, forcing Tundra to move to the snowy plains.
(Apparently, Quicksilver has been teleported to northern Greenland during the Viking Age. He has not yet found out why the Four Elders spared his life, but he now knows that his life should not be wasted :D)

Sorry for making this so long!! I tried making a shorter version, but it sounded so boring without the details O_o If I win him, I'll probably write a detailed version of this :3
Aqua: You can change this up however you want it, just tell me what you dislike! :D Also, if I am allowed to keep him blue, I would change his story around a bit. Perhaps everyone despised him for his blue color, except for the professor. Everyone blamed Q for the stayr's dea.th because they wanted Silver gone :D
