I agree with Super Yoshi. You've got the effect down; you just need to add more.
When making something glowy, you really need to go all out. Hope this helps!

great job on the glow effect!
just a tip or two
-try making the parts nearest the light source a bit brighter
-make the shine in the eyes a light shade of the colour of the light, so for example in this pic you'd make it a light pink/purple
