finished an okay drawing so I can give an update without just drawing a 3 min doodle. Anyway, moving into dorm today, 14th floor (yikes, not good with heights, but I can manage..) I'll have internet for sure. I'll probably be less nervous once I'm settled in... alright... to anyone starting school, hope everything goes well, and don't stress too much.

ecology/evolution, race and ethnicity in media, population change, expressive culture. Doing lots of prerequisites for my major right now, since this is for communications (I'll be going into animation, game design, and film type of stuff later on)

Yeah, communications doesn't have /all/ of the game design and animation stuff, but it's got all the parts I want to do in each, since the game design aspect is part of the radio/tv/film (part of communications), computer science, and art majors. Radio/tv/film is less stressful and more versatile (for me) than an art major (and less expensive). I might try to fill up credit hours with computer science classes because even if I don't major in it, the experience will be valuable. I'm pretty confident with my art, at least, I can work on getting better on my own time and I work more with graphic design-y kinda stuff (better with media classes than art) than I do "artsy" art..

Good luck! I also have an interest in game design, so thats kinda cool. You should keep us updated on how your year goes!
