I'm trying to figure out how to deer, so here's some deer sketches using photo references to try and figure out proper proportions and anatomy. Also a chance to practice adding interest to sketches, but idk wat I'm doing so lol xD
Mostly white and black-tailed deer, and me procrastinating antlers. XD

Deer are hard! xD Especially if you're used to drawing cats or dogs. The biggest thing I'm keeping in mind is deer are prey, unlike dogs/cats who are predators, and their traits reflect that (like eyes set to the sides of their head to get an almost 360 view around them to watch for threats). They just have very interesting anatomy, lol. XD
@Elaive: NOOO YOUR SKETCHES ARE SO MUCH NICER WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT. XD Mine are so silly and lame, lol.
