Johnson, as a student of a geo sciences related subject, let me tell you, that there are indeed formations with mountains close by the water (can be a river, too).

@Kan_Muftic: you should never say negative things about your own work even when you don't personally like it. i've found that when i don't like something i've created there's someone somewhere who enjoys viewing it. the mistakes we see in our own work might not be seen by others. besides we artists can be own worst critics. so, show yourself some love. ok? this IS a beautiful painting. :) it might not be 100% of what was seen in your imagination but, that's ok, too. if you ask any creative person they'll tell you something similar to what sir elton john said many years ago. he said,"when he imagines creating music only 90% or less comes out. the other 10% never comes out." i'm paraphrasing of course but, the basic gist of what was meant by his statement is understood. this happens to all of us. keep creating. we enjoy your art.
