Casse's birth name was Casey. She was an innocent, young Nincada. When she evolved she met Monami, the soul of her brother who had suff.ocated in his egg. He re-animated Casey's shell.

Casey later in life learned of the cruelties of the world. Trainers tried to catch her, resulting in many scars and a blown off arm. She almost died when her wings were torn off, along with most of her back.
