It was a long journey, but Esense was so close to the top of the mountian. According to the Golem he met at the base of the mountain, there was an abundance of evolution stones up there, and he just had to get one. Esense looked up at the sky and noticed it was starting to get dark. He was already so close to the peak, there was no need to stop now. He'd be able to head to the top, evolve, and make it back to the fighting village he came from, better, and stronger then ever. The thoughts of being a Gallade filled his mind, as he continued upwards. 'Master Harriyama is gonna sh** himself when he sees my new form.' he thought as he climbed over stone after stone, unaware of the footsteps following him. 'Just over this last rock' he said as the Kirlia pulled himself over the final rock to the peak. His mental focus was already starting to wear down, long ago, forcing him to use his actual muscles to climb, rather then levetating to the top. -continued down.

-continued- The Kirlia heaved himself over the final rock, to see a spectacular sight. Fire Stones, Water Stones, Moon, Leaf, Dusk, Shiny. They were all there. He scanned the area, looking for his target; a light blue stone that shines like a pair of bright, blue eyes; or so he had been told. A Dawn stone. He looked around and spotted only one, wedged inbetween a some rocks. As he walked toward it however, he heard someting that shot in a sharp sense of fear, and a chill down his spine. He froze as a pack of wild Mightyena surrounded him. One lunged at him, taking a huge bite out of his right leg, causing him to come stumbling down. The pack quickly surrounded him as he painfully stood up in a ready fighting position. The Mightyena leader snorted a laugh as he opened his mouth, and his teeth started glowing a sinister shade of purple, as he latched onto him with a powerful Poison Fang. Esense dropped. -continued down-

-continued- With a flick of his wrist, Esense summoned a barrage of Magical Leaves and hurled them at the Mightyena leader until he let go. Esense had already lost so much mental focus on the climb, there was no way his Magical Leaf did much to that Mightyena. Was this their strategy, and reason for living up here? To entise pokemon seeking Evolution to the top, and then attacking them when weakened? These WERE Dark types after all. Equal fighting morals didn't seem to matter to them much. Esense's vision began to blur as the Mightyena surrounded him to finish him off, when he had one, final idea. He gazed over at the Dawn Stone, knowing that he couldn't run to it in time. The only thing that could possibly save him was Evolution. With the Mightyena coming in from all sides, Esense reached into his pocket and pulled out the Everstone that had kept him a Kirlia for so long, and threw it on the ground. A glow surrounded his body as his form began to change. -continued down-

When the glow faded, Esense glared directly at the Mightyena boss. With the evolution to Gardevoir, Esense had re-gained his mental focus, and then some. He put his hands together and felt a powerfull force forming in the palms of his hands. The boss howled, and instantly, his pack became alert, attacking from all sides. Esense effortlessly dodged each and every one of them, as he charged up. Escaping the center of the circle, Esense sharply turned around. He then released a powerfull Dazzling Gleam, to knock the Mightyena down to the rocky floor. Esense then walked over to where the Dawn Stone was once ledged into the rocks, wriggled it out, and proceded to head back down the mountian. He may not have become a Gallade like he had expected, but one thing was for sure. Master Harriyama was definately going to sh** himself once he got back home.

Aaaand there we have it. The story of Esense's strange evolution. :P
