I love Rennisiance Faires SO MUCH (despite the fact I obviously can't spell 'rennisiance'). Went over the weekend. Bought a dress and elf ears. Made a flower crown. Wore my aviator shades. Had the best time I've had all summer. My drama director was in a show, said I should audition next year. I mean...get PAID to put on elf ears and make flower crowns all day? Yes please...!!
Also there was this creepy guy dressed up as Link there. Wasn't harassing anyone or nothin'...just creeped me out. :l

Sounds awesome! Never been to one, but I'd like to. I like all the medieval/fantasy stuff... What does your dress look like?

I actually didn't buy it at the faire. There was a garage sale along the road to it and I snagged it for $7. It's kinda ratty and stained, but that's what you get for buying secondhand.
Sorta a dove grey color with lots of little embroidery details. Has a lace-up thing of the chestpiece (that is just for show), and basically looks like what you'd expect a commoner to wear. Pretty, tho.
And the ears point downward instead of up (thought I'd do something different) so I looked like Dobby. T'was cool.

We might be going to ours this year. I went with two of my friends last year, and we had a blast. I'll need to look into that, actually...
