...as badly as I wanted to do Invader Zim in the 'my choice' box - since, to me at least, it's just a very appealing-looking style and is fun as hurr to draw - I'd more or less just look like a feathery Dib.

Your style has this really cool British vibe to it, especially your avatar. I've noticed that a more French style has been popular within the last few years. Pendleton Ward's style is a simpled variation of French cartoony style, and Lofty Lioness on here has about an 80% French vibe. British style seems to go really well with silly images while French is aimed more towards something that is a little cute yet very smooth and tall.
