Born in a town situated South of the border between Erudyce and Arcadal, Adelyn grew up with her father who taught her the ways of the hunt, which eventually turned her reflexes into cunning weapons.
These days, Adelyn chooses the bounty hunter life to make gold in exchange for her remarkable abilities in combat.
Soon after the fall of Verum -Capital of Arcadal- , she meets up with a ex-captain, who would do anything to get his mind off of what he witnessed during the siege.

Great pose and expression!
Somewhat random question for you: have you ever read The Edge Chronicles? It just seems like your type of story. If you haven't read them, I'd suggest checking them out.

Novel series. Authors: Paul Stewart & Chris Riddell (usually listed under Stewart) There are nine books, made up of three trilogies each featuring one of three different characters. (If you look it up on Wikipedia it lists them as the Twig, Quint, and Rook trilogies, after the main characters) Anyway, they're written for pre- to early teens, but I re-read them this year and they were still good. And apparently, the authors are working on a fourth 'character trilogy'--I think the first book's been published already. So yeah. If you want more info, check out the Wiki article--it's got pretty much everything (just don't read the synopsis if you don't want to spoil the ending!)
