As punishment of eating the Moons, Bathala exciled Bakunawa in a cave deep down the Ocean which is sealed by a powerful seal that prevents Bakunawa from using it's power. However before Bakunawa's 1000 year exile was over, she died in the cave instead because of starvation and overuse of powers and was later or reincarnated years later.[[The reincarnation costed her memories & reverted back to youth(a baby)]]

As a deity, Bakunawa can change it's gender to male or female but prefers female because it's 'children' reffer to her as their mother. This children of hers are actually demons/monsters that she created with by using her own blood and magic.

Bathala, felt responsible for the death of Bakunawa and soon after she was reincarnated, he visited her lair often while allowing some of her children to be with her.

[[However she's still mesmerized by the remaining moon and tries to eat it every chance she get but gets stopped by Bathala every single time]]
