In order to draw the paw successfully, you need good understanding of anatomy and form. Research what bones are in the foot and how they look. The bones are important because the foot are mostly bones, tendons and skin. Also draw in the ground plane to plant the paws on. For instance, you have drawn a weird bump on the front of the ankle. The thorax is way too small. The fibula and scapula are non-existent. There are many important anatomical landmarks you have to indicate in order to make a believable wolf.
