I cheated and retouched it a little in Photoshop because the blacks that looked like the same colour on my DS screen were actually horribly splotchy on a proper monitor. And I couldn't fix it on the DS, because they looked the same :\

is this completely from your imagination or did you get it from some reference written or otherwise? i'd like to use the concept in a story. looking at both the png and finished drw files I don't see a difference at all. maybe you didn't upload the PS version. i dunno. i like this expressionistic painting. plz, keep posting more paintings like this one. :)
