Novel I read for English class. It's about a family living in Massachusetts. The dad is Irish and the past mayor of Boston. He has one biological son, the 35-year-old black sheep of the family. The two other sons are adopted, in college, and don't like politics. The family is falling apart until one night, one son almost gets hit by a car but is saved by a mysterious woman, a stranger. She gets seriously hurt, leaving the family in care of her daughter. What follows will change their lives.
