Heh, just having fun with my design ability. Everyone has that tho, mine are just plain boring and dumb.
Dragony never looked like he would ever be a king untill i gave him that lil' outfit. heh.
I decided to give her 2 tails, but i never like how i drew her arms or legs so yah.
Also, you'll notice the design of dragony's hands and feet... yah, it was just an idea. I'm never satisfied with his design, gawd. XD

Patterns and colors...? hmm. Well, what i usually would do is think of a personality. Then think of, like, symbols or colors that would go with that personality and start creating the character. Sorry if my tips are bad. people don't usually ask X)
