so yep this is a story i've started on Wattpad which is why it's in thr browser. let me know what you think and if i should continue it on here too =)

"Twenty four have become two as players Damian Adams and Carina Alester now battle it out to claim the Witherville title!" the announcer's voice boomed through speakers throughout the arena and surrounding area, assured to grab anyone's attention.
Accompanying the speakers were several large HD screens around the outside of the arena that broadcasted the event which was the first to ever occur in the town.
The Witherville tournament's players had been decided by eight other rounds of survival. The top three of each game had been sent through to the final match. Now only two were left, but Carina would soon fix that.

As she ran through the forest, leaves swiftly brushed past her. Carina began to pick up her pace as the walls of trees began to give way, and seconds later she broke out into the centre of the arena where the game had begun. The twenty four stone and glass podiums that surrounded the large stack of chests now lay dormant until the next round.
Carina quickly sprinted toward the chests, hoping they'd been restocked. But just as she grabbed the iron latch of the nearest chest, with a thud, an arrow lodged itself in the chest beside her. She whipped round, iron sword in hand. From the tree line, the second player, Damian Adams sprinted forward, pulling another arrow from the quiver and loaded his bow. As the arrow shot straight for it's target, Carina hit it away with her sword. While Damian reloaded, she charged forward and swung down. Damian dodged and fired the arrow. It hit Carina's armoured shoulder. The chain chest plate didn't offer that much protection. As she staggered back, Damian withdrew an axe and began lashing out, determined to win. Carina backed up, then regained her balance and began countering Damian's attacks. The area rang with the sound of iron clashing with iron as the sword and axe collided multiple times. As Damian went to strike down, Carina knocked the axe up and out of his hands. The impact sent him to the ground, arrows spilled from his quiver. Not being the fairest of players, Damian quickly grabbed a fistful of sand and hurled it into his opponent's face before kicking out, sweeping Carina's feet out from under her. She hit the floor hard, dropping her sword. Damian stood up and kicked away, out of reach. Through blurred vision, Carina could see Damian retrieving his iron axe. She knew it would only take one more hit for the ender pearl band around her wrist to automatically teleport her out of the arena. And once that would happen, she'd lose the game. No. She'd come to far to lose now.

Looking to her left, she spotted Damian's bow half buried in the sand. Thinking fast, Carina rolled and grabbed the bow then lifted one of the arrows from Damian's now empty quiver. Seeing this, he ran forward, axe upraised. Now on her knees, Carina quickly turned and launched the arrow, hitting Damian square on the chest. And that was it. The ender pearl wrist band lit up in a cyan glow. Seconds later, just like the other twenty two players, Damian was teleported out of the arena in a shower of glowing purple particles.

Carina stood up. She'd done it. Aside from the pain in her shoulder, she felt excitement build up inside.
The announcer's voice echoed through the various speakers once again. "And that's it! Carina Alester has won the first ever Witherville Survival Games Tournament!".
With that, fireworks were released and exploded in shimmering shower of different colours. Outside, spectators cheered and clapped.
Some distance from the crowd, a brown haired man dressed in black had been watching through equally black shades. Satisfied by the outcome, he nodded to himself and walked away.

As the glittering particles rained down, Carina was also teleported out of the arena to a special quarters. Here, she was healed and her gear was removed just like the other players.
After being congratulated by the other players, including Damian, Carina was led to another room. She was surrounded by a few women who fixed up her light blond hair and clothes, which she didn't mind too much. However, when another woman approached her with blusher and lipstick, she immediately backed away, refusing the offer in the nicest way possible.
Shortly afterwards, Carina was led out onto a stage where the game master and the mayor of Witherville waited. As she walked out onto the stage she looked to her right to find herself standing before a large crowd, who gave her a round of applause. When the audience slowly silenced themselves, the award ceremony began. After both the game master and the mayor gave small speeches, Carina was given a medal and more fireworks were released.

Carina walked down the cobblestone street, blue hood up and gold medal around her neck. She'd finally managed to break away from the crowd. She was happy she'd won but the attention was too much after a while.
As Carina continued on, she became aware of someone ahead of her. It was a man dressed in black. He gave her a friendly wave, so she decided to stop. She took in the man's details. He was taller than her. His hair was brown, slightly short and spiked a bit in places. His eyes hid behind black shades which offered Carina two reflections of herself.

"Congratulations, that was quite a game" the man said
"Thanks" Carina answered simply, for she'd heard the same sentence many times over the past two hours after the ceremony.
She expected the man to continue on his way, but he did no such thing.
"You've got quite good skills I must say. Carina is it? I have something to ask you. How would you be interested in a little something I'm organising in another part of the region?" He asked and handed Carina a paper flyer.
"The Ultimate Survival Games?" she asked as she read the top of the page.
The man nodded. "Yes. You see I'm looking for the best of the best to compete. And, after witnessing your victory today, I believe you're more than worthy to take part. So what do you say? Are you up to the task?" he asked persuasively.
Carina looked at him, then down at the page. It was just another game, what was the worst that could happen? If she lost, so what, right? Her mind was made up

"Hmm, alright. Count me in" Carina answered and handed the man the flyer.
He gladly took it and handed her a small card- an invitation- as if knowing she'd accept.

"Excellent. All the details are in this. I will see you again very soon".
With that, the man nodded, turned and walked away. Suddenly he stopped and looked back over his shoulder. With a smile, or was it a smirk? Carina wasn't sure, he said

"It will be an experience you'll never forget" and took his leave.

the loser has a heaven house they can live in until the hunger games are over..... but i wish i made a 'excersize' room...... oh well.... and besides, i always wear the gecko skin. and my little brother usually adds OP stuff into the starting chests..... and so i have to switch my skin and delete the op stuff..... and yes.... since i was so bored that time, i only made three structures, but the map is still a WIP. but i'll play on it sometimes, and add more stuff..... but one of the structures is the brick house of the three little pigs.... what? i was so bored..... and yes, it only has eight pods in it...... but the most stuff that i placed there is are chests..... with not that good stuff, but if your lucky enough, you might find a diamond sythe(hoe).... but the reason i call it a sythe is that it loses no durability if you hit a mob or player. and there's only a few enchanted weapons... but like the sythe, there is the ultimate rod........ and Draco's Wrath....
