A popular theory says cubone is a baby kangaskhan. If that were true cubone might actually look like this. The biggest difference is the shape of the skull. Kangaskhans have very round heads. Baby kangaskhan also has two claws per foot and cubone only has one claw per foot even when evolved into marowak.
