Steam Clef sighed as he slowly got out of the lake near the town that he and Punk Dicesima were sstaying at. He wanted to relax tonight and be away from others. He enjoyed his privacy after a big gig as a DJ and singer. So, he ran off while the others were partying.

He sighed as he looked up at the stars, he mind heavy with thoughts. "I wonder when I should tell her.." he whispered. He was referring to his horn upon this head. The top hat was how he hid it from her for so long. "Her seeing this will be proof I'm not just a Pegasus, but rather, an Alicorn.."

"If Punk knew that I was a Prince, I wonder what she'd say.." he shook off the water on his coat and mane as he got out of the lake. However, as he looked up, his eyes widened as he seen Punk, standing there with a shocked stance. "P-Punk!" he shouted, not knowing what else to say.

Punk's eyes widened as she herself did not know what to say. "Clef...I-Is that a h-horn?" she whispered to him. She moved closer to him, his ears drooping. He knew he couldn't back away now. Her eyes narrowed as she was growing angry. "H-How could you hide something like this from me?!" she stomped her hoof into the ground. "That's how you were able to save me in EverFree Forest and back in Canterlot when thieves attacked me! Why didn't you tell me?!"

He closed his eyes, his head still hung as he took her yelling. He knew that Punk had a very bad temper. Clef also knew he was going to know first hand how bad her attitude really was. "I couldn't. I'm running away from home, and if anyone knew who I really was then, I would be caught and forced to go back.."

"But, I am your FRIEND, Clef! This is big news to me, and you had to hide it! I wouldn't have told anypony anything!" she growled, tears wellinb up in her eyes. "Why would you think only about yourself? I had the right to know." she glared at him, fighting back tears and Clef knew it.

"Punk! I had to! I can't go back ho-" before he was able to finish his statement, he felt a swift kick by Punk Dicesima. He fell back down in the lake, his eyes big as he looked up at her. "Hey! That was uncalled for!"
