"1. Ok, I've been bullied in my whole life. It's been getting better through the years, but people still bully me. Sometimes I think people like me, but they just do things so they can laugh behind my back. Is there anyway I can make friends with these people? I just am a very social person with the friends I have, but not enough that I don't get teased, I guess. Can you help give advice on how to make more friends and be less teased?" (continued from description) "2. (Ok, this is a little more puberty-ish talk) There's this one kid that makes fun of how much arm and leg hair I have. It's a big problem, because I get so hot, that I never wear sweaters or pants. I keep asking my mom to let me shave or wax or something like that, but she won't let me. Is there a way she can stop teasing me for that stuff? (Sorry for this kind of talk!)"

1. You're outgoing and have friends, so then it should be easy to make more friends just with a little effort. Remember, though, that some people have a lot going on in their life that can make them angry and depressed. Sometimes they take that out on others. But there are still people out there who would make good friends. It's a matter of projecting a positive, friendly attitude while also having a carefree attitude at the same time. People are naturally drawn to people who seem like nothing really upsets them. Also, not reacting strongly to bullies makes you less fun to bulky, so it works in two ways. If you start to see things from the grand perspective of your whole life and the whole world, you'll see that everyday events aren't worth getting upset over.

2. Maybe explain to your mom that you feel like it would help boost your self confidence and avoid depression. You could mention how common depression and poor self esteme is and what a tiny price it is to pay for something that is a small and easy way to improve your life. It may also be that your mom's embaras.sed about buying something and you could offer to go in and buy it yourself. If not, just accept yourself and ignore the person. If you seem like you don't care, eventually they may stop.
