I like to buy larger/pen styluses so if I happen to misplace the one I'm using, I can always pull out the one in my 3ds as a back-up. c:
The Nintendo brand ones with characters on them (like the pokemon) are good for their shape (but the character on the end is heavy, so I just pull it delicately off, since it just snaps on), but any stylus you can get from an electronic store should be good too.
