The fact that nothing can hit it super effectively (filter halves super effective damage making it like a normal effect) is really annoying. Tie that in with Rest, and you got yourself a recipie for WHYYYYYYY!?!? (/eAe")/

i just use ma gengar for them o3o' just will-o-wisp and hex, then when it uses rest and is asleep just hex again /o3o/
