Redmoth spoke loudly, occassionally glancing at Frostedstar, "As you all know, the Clans are broken; scattered across the territories and possibly beyond. Because of this, the three- er, four Clans must join together to survive. The Warrior Code means nothing at this moment. All we must do is stick together, or we'll die." With that he stepped off of the fallen tree he was on, and broke out into a coughing fit.

Sweetfur agreed silently, but merely proceded to groom Shellkit's head.

Feeling a certain rush, Frostedstar meowed loudly so every cat could hear, "The clans may be scattered, but what are we but rogues if we do not heed the warrior code? I would like to discuss a new /temporary/ code until we figure things out."

(Hah. I rhymed. XD)

Redmoth ceased his coughing, then looked at Frostedstar, "We'll still be a Clan, Frostedstar. We will care for kits and elders, hunt, and so on... we just can't be what we used to."

Sweetfur was grateful for the distraction. This meant that her kits could feed in peace... and that she could be with them for a few precious moments.

(Okay since I wasn't here for the first 2 RPs, what should I do? Should I have Kestrelpaw and Skypaw be there the whole time, or get them to find their way to the others? I'm leaning towards the latter idea.)

Frostedstar's brows furrowed. "I just think we should set new boundries. We're still clan cats, and the clans follow the code."

"Yes, but in case you haven't noticed, two of the leaders are missing, and most of the cats are as well."

Snowtail lay away from the others, licking at a stubborn thorn in her forepaw.

Growling softly, Frostedstar bit back a retort and instead meowed, "I wish to meet with all clan representitives who will vouch for their clan."

Redmoth replied, "Well, I'm the deputy, so I suppose I'll represent my Clan."

Snowtail sat up, "Well, I'm Pinestar's sister, so I guess I can try? The deputy's still missing... so I can serve as that 'til we find her."

Riverstone stared at the two toms. /no codes?!/ She sat down contemplating on wether that was a good Idea or not.

Kestrelpaw shivered as she made her way through the fog with Skypaw. She was completely lost. Kestrelpaw thought herself lucky that she managed to find Skypaw, but worried about her other siblings. Walking onward, the young apprentice swished her tail as she desperately tried to find other Iceclan members.

Skypaw followed behind Kestrelpaw, wincing occasionally. His muscles were sore. /Does Kestrelpaw have any injuries?/ Skypaw wondered. Shaking his head, Skypaw almost bumped into his sister. "Hey, why'd ya stop?!" he asked.
"I'm trying to find the others!" Kestrelpaw replied.

Sweetfur glanced at Lightningstrike, opening her mouth to speak to him. She decided to stay quiet so she wouldn't catch the others' attention.

Frostedstar nodded roughly to the two cats and began padding rigidly to a spot under a large bent tree away from the gathered cats.

Shrewberry huffed and looked around for a cat to converse with while she waited.

Lightningstrike was grumbling with Loudstorm about how things were such a mess and that everyone's so soft they run off with the kittypets.

Unknown to the young apprentices, a stranger was following them...

Snowtail, despite the thorn, bounded after Frostedstar while Redmoth followed slowly. His age was showing in more than just his grayed muzzle.

Frostedstar plopped himself onto the mushy ground and awaited the fill-ins to arrive.

Kestrelpaw tried, but only found hazy scents of unknown cats. Sighing, she resumed walking. Though she didn't want to give up on finding her clan, so she kept stopping every so often to search. Gradually, the scents changed. "Skypaw, I think I can smell Frostedstar...." Kestrelpaw mumbled, picking up her pace into a run. "And the others, too!" Her heart lifted. But she didn't hear Skypaw running with her. Skidding to a stop, Kestrelpaw turned to see Skypaw trotting a bit behind. She waited for her brother to catch up, then made a moderate pace.

Skypaw huffed as he fought to keep with Kestrelpaw. "Everything's sore....." he muttered.

Suddenly, Loudstorm broke from the conversation and he hobbled out of the make-shift camp leaving Lightningstrike. The white tom lumbered over to Sweetfur and looked fondly at the kits.

The stranger continued following, wondering how the two cats could call themselves apprentices.

Snowtail sat down across from Frostedstar, curling her small tail around her hind paw.
Redmoth sat down gingerly, wincing at a pop sound in his hip as he did so.

Sweetfur looked at Hickoryfrost, "Hey... um... what was your name again?" she asked, her ears growing warm in embarrassment.

Riverstone sat idle and impatient. She glanced at the other cats , she wondered about what there lives were before the disaster. She pawed at a small ladybug crawling in front of her.

Frostedstar waited for the two to situate themselves before meowing, "As representitives of your clans, I'd like to develope a new code until we figure out something perminent...Any ideas of what should and should not be permitted in this joined clan?"

Snowtail was first to pipe up, "What if we find a hurt loner or kittypet? We should help them, too! We were all affected by the storm, so we could help them get home if they're lost or something."

Vineslash padded over and sat down beside Riverstone.

Kestrelpaw briefly scented another being, but dismissed it as the scent of a cat from this territory. She kept going and eventually came to the clearing with the other cats. Looking around, she recognized cats from her clan. "You're all safe!" She didn't realize that some of her clanmates were still missing; Kestrelpaw was just glad to see familiar faces.

Skypaw eventually came to the place with the other cats, and grinned. "We made it!" He barely kept himself from shouting.

Crackleblaze hurried to the 3 "leaders" and sat down in the empty space.

Riverstone glanced at the cat and smiled. "H-hello" she cleared her throat "How are you?" She watched as the bug flew away.

Sweetfur swiveled her head, "Kestrelpaw! Come here! There's kits, I want you to see them! They're mine- mine to care for, since I'm the medicine cat," she mewed, finishing awkwardly.

Frostedstar contemplated for a few heart beats, then he meowed, "They might try to harm these cats though...But if they needed help I suppose we could just be cautious..."

Vineslash puffed out her chest, "I'm doing great! Ha, it's cool to meet the other Clans!" she meowed, swishing her tail. The large scar on her back glistened with fresh blood, but it wasn't completely re-opened.

Snowtail tilted her head, "I guess. I think most would be grateful for some help."

Redmoth twitched his tail, meowing a brief greeting to the newcomer.

Riverstone laughed nervousley "Ha ha y-yeah!" Riverstone stared at the scar on the cats back. She mewed shakily "Were did you get that from?" her tail motioning to the scar.

"Hm? Oh! That old thing? Ha, got it from a thunderpath over yonder," she meowed boisterously, motioning her head toward the nearest thunderpath, where it could now be seen through the fallen trees.

Frostedstar glanced at Redmoth then meowed, "We need to keep the some of the normal code, such as still staying loyal to your clan, but to still help the others in the group."

Kestrelpaw thought nothing of Sweetfur's awkward sentence but bounded happily to her mentor. She looked at the tiny kits and remembered when she was that tiny. "Oh, look at them! They're so tiny and cute!" Kestrelpaw giggled as she looked at the little bundles. "Do you know what their names are?"

Skypaw rolled his eyes. /They're just kuts, we were all just like that. No need to gush about it./ Skypaw almost spoke his thoughts, but decided not to. He would get in trouble. Looking at the crowd of cats, he spotted Lightningstrike and padded toward the white furred tom. "Hi, Lightningstrike." Skypaw said respectfully to his mentor.

Redmoth now spoke, "So, no mates in other Clans? It'd be quite difficult if we were stuck with more kits. That, and it would break the Code."

Sweetfur smiled, "The spotted tom is Shellkit, the ginger she-cat is Scorchkit, the brown tom is Ghostkit, and the white tom is Dovekit," she meowed, laying her tail tip on each as she said their name.

Lightningstrike turned his head to face his apprentice, but his eyes stuck to Hickoryfrost for a heart beat before they locked onto Skypaw. "Good job. You're not dead."

Riverstones eyes widend "You got it from going onto the thunderpath?!" Riverstone felt a chill go down her spine. /Thats how thunderheart di.ed (Can't quite remember)/

Hickoryfrost meowed with gusto, "They're my kits. Had loads of trouble with the mud, but Sweetfur and Lightningstrike were there to help."

Kestrelpaw nodded. "I like their names. I wish I coulda been there to help them be born so I could learn. Who's their mother?"
(Ohhh Kestrelpaw you don't wanna know who the mother is or you'll freak out a little bit)

Vineslash nodded, "Yeah, but the monster was different. The twoleg was just sitting on it, and it had two paws instead of four. It was a lot louder, too," she explained, trying her best to describe the odd creature.

(X'D Yes. Yes he is.)

Sweetfur's tail fluffed up a bit in defense, but she cleared her throat and said she didn't know who the mother was.

Hickoryfrost meowed a little louder, "Their mother and my mate couldn't keep them, so Sweetfur offered to help me with them."

Pinefur burst into the camp huffing and puffing. He took a minute to catch his breath, chest heaving. When he finally did, he wobbled the few paces to a puddle and lapped up the muddy water greedily. "Oh great starclan almighty..." He let out a whoosh of breath and flopped onto the moist dirt.

The stranger stayed hidden behind some branches, thinking the other Clan cats were as nose-blind as the apprentices.

Skypaw kept himself from puffing out his chest. /Lightningstrike wouldn't like it if I boast, would he?/ So he smiled instead. "Yep! You're not dead, either." he then added, "Not like I'd expect you to, though! You're too strong for that!" Skypaw didn't want Lightningstrike to assume that his apprentice didn't expect him to weather a storm.

Frostedstar leapt up at the sight of his deputy. He stared for a moment then sat back down and called, "Did you see any other cats, Pinefur?"

Riverstone turned her head at the loud splash, it was Pinefur! "Pinefur?" Riverstone meowed loudly. She ran over to aid the deputy.

(I'm just going to pretend that Morningfinch went with the whole clan. XD) Morningfinch yawned, yellowed teeth showing brightly against his pink mouth. He shifted his weight to his bottom and sat up, sleepy eyes taking in camp.

The slightest smile tugged at the corner of Lightningstrike's muzzle, and he meowed, "You're alright, 'paw," then he turned and sprinted and called back, "Come on!"

Pinefur glanced up. "Huh? Oh, um, I think I may have. Well, it could've been a log, but I couldn't really tell because I was startled by a shadow that looked an awful lot like a badger at the time." He gulped and laughed feebly. "Don't worry, it wasn't... I'm just a bit... jittery, is all." He looked away.

(Gotta eat. Brb. I'll probs post while eating though :P )

(Or he could have just been sleeping in a stump in the camp and they just now realize he was in there. XD)

Loudstorm padded up behind Pinefur and he tapped him with his forepaw and meowed with a half smile, "You're just muddy and tired. Take it easy before a hoard of badger-logs come take the rest of us out." he chuckled.

(Hmm, I was accepted, right? Btw, making another cat.)

Riverstone laughed at loudstorms remark "Loudstorms right take it easy , it's nothing to worry about". Riverstone smiled at Pinefur / What if there really is a badger? We weren't the only ones effected by the storm/.

Pinefur let out a sigh. "Guhh... It's just this whole trip.... it's been a big damper on my attitude." He chuckles almost unconciously and lays down. "I probably," he yawns, "just need some sleep."

Pinefur smiled back. "Thanks. I'll probably take it easy tomorrow and do some menial tasks." He snorts.

Kestrelpaw nodded once more. "I see. Well, they're in good paws with Sweetfur!" The scent she smelled before drifted by, hazily by where Kestrelpaw and Skypaw came into the clearing. "Hey, we're not in another clan's territory, are we? Because there's a scent over there," she indicated with her tail, "Of another cat."

Skypaw pushed the dull ache of his muscles to the back of his mind, and chased after Lightningstrike. He didn't dare call out for his mentor to wait up, lest he be scolded for being weak. Instead, Skypaw pushed himself and wasn't too far behind.

(hold on doods, gotta shower super quick)

Lightningstrike led his apprentice away from the camp and into a dense area of toppled over trees. Taking a swift, hard right, Lightningstrike began weaving fluidly through the stumps and logs attempting to throw off Skypaw.

The stranger couldn't help but smirk; the mouse-brain had finally noticed her. Well, she may as well stay put until someone comes for her.

Sweetfur shook her head, "No. Well, SlashClan's here, but they're just two cats, not a Clan. Maybe it's just all of the combined scents confusing you?" the ginger she-cat said to Kestrelpaw.

Kestrelpaw tilted her head. "I don't think so. I can smell the others perfectly fine. Even the cats from the other clans aren't messing up my nose." Uneasily, she looked back to where the stranger seemed to be.

Skypaw saw Lightningstrike make a hard right, and skidded to a stop. He quickly spun to the right and kept chase. Skypaw nimbly jumped on top of fallen trees and stumps. He was falling behind a little bit, but didn't give up.

Sweetfur narrowed her eyes, scenting the air. She growled, getting to her paws and standing protectively over the kits. This wasn't the scent of any cat she knew. She glanced at Hickoryfrost, silently asking him to see if the intruder was dangerous. After all, there couldn't be any cat bigger than the tom... could there?

Vineslash looked down, clawing at the ground longingly.

Hickoryfrost gallantly swished his tail and marched to investigate. *I've got this under control Sweetiefur. Big strong Hickoryfrost will protect you.* he thought smoothly.

Lightningstrike danced through the broken forest and turned swiftly several more times before using a sudden burts of speed to lose sight of the young apprentice.

Sweetfur was still tense, her back arched slightly.

The stranger had left, but was still nearby. She was merely looking for easy prey....

Lightningstrike silently pearched himself atop a log watching Skypaw. He flattened himself and prepaired to pounce

Kestrelpaw broke her stare out into the forest and stood up. She quietly stood with Sweetfur, keeping an eye on the little kits.

Skypaw halted himself when his mentor disappeared from view. He immediately tried to locate Lightningstrike by scent. Skypaw began to run in what he hoped was the right direction, not daring to show hesitance.

Out of what seemed like nowhere, the large stranger tackled Skypaw.

Sweetfur lay down, curling protectively around her precious kits.

Lightningstrike's muscles were bunched and ready to fling him into action, but he was stopped by a huge brownish shape bowling over the tiny apprentice. At first he thought it was Hickoryfrost, the size was right, no other cat could be that large, but no...He rammed his back paws into the bark as he pushed off the tree and he landed on the creature's back and he struggled to clamp his jaws around it's neck. He mannaged to grip it's scruff

The stranger felt little pain through her matted fur. She rolled over onto the white tom, hoping to crush him under her weight.

Kestrelpaw, seeing that Sweetfur wasn't tense, relaxed herself. But she still stood. "So it's all clear?" Kestrelpaw inquired. Her nose hadn't decieved her, she knew there was someone there.

Skypaw made a small sound of alarm as one creature tackled him, then another jumped atop the first. He was certain they were both cats, but was too busy struggling to figure out who they were. Struggling to twist himself so he could fight back, Skypaw unsheathed his claws and tried to rake them across the attacker's belly.

Once Riverstone felt that Pinefur was alright she padded back to Vineslash. "So could you tell me a little bit about slash clan?" Riverstone mewed.

Vineslash grinned, "Well, we're a Clan that helps out any rogues and loners. We prefer to hunt out 'n the swamps. Mud 'nd water practic'lly run in our veins. We're swimmers and love the taste of frogs 'n fish," she explained, twitching her kinked tail excitedly.

Suddenly, the great oaf was smothering Lightningstrike. The tom released his grip and went limp.

"Wow that sounds so cool! So how many cats are in slashclan?" Riverstone said happily. / Wow a clan that helps rouges and loners/ Her chest was filled with excitement.

Skypaw took a deep gulp of air when the weight on him released. He got up and noticed Lightningstrike pinned by the cat, but was conflicted. /Should I help and have Lightningstrike think I'm getting in the way, or not help and have him scold me for standing by?!/ Skypaw shook his head and decided to help. He hunched down, and leapt onto the attacker's back. Biting down, Skypaw refused to choke on the thick, matted fur and clenched his jaw.

Lightningstrike held his breath, and waited for the smelly rug to remove its self from atop him. He was imprinted into the soft, wet, muddy earth, so he wasn't worried about being crushed, only inhaling the odors the beast wealded.

The stranger grunted, shaking her pelt to try getting the apprentice off.

Vineslash smiled, thinking to herself. She than responded, "Well, just me and my Ma. The loners stay with us for a while, than leave once they're better."

(Oh Lightningstrike. XD)

"Oh" Riverstone paused for a moment thinking about the mom she barely knew. "Can I meet her?" Riverstones said quietly.

(Sorry, I was drawing ^^' )

Vineslash shrugged, "She's talkin' with th'other leaders at the moment," she replied, her ears growing warm.

Riverstone smiled "Oh okay". Riverstone looked down at her paws, listening to her heartbeat. She took a deep breathe and then looked up at the she-cat.

Skypaw dug his claws into the attacker's knotted pelt, which provided a good clawhold. He gripped tighter, and tried to yank at the stranger's fur with his teeth. Skypaw hoped this would provide a distraction.

Vineslash tilted her head, "Y'okay?" she asked softly.

The stranger enjoyed this, it reminded her of when she was training her kits. She stopped, laying on the ground, "Oh! Please stop! I can't take it anymore!" she meowed in a raspy voice. Her mangled face was fugly and probs made the other cats wanna puke.

Riverstone jumped a little and replied calmy "Yeah ". Riverstone turned her attention to the sky, it was almlst sunset.

Vineslash looked away, then asked softly, "What's it like living in a big Clan...?"

Lightningstrike pushed the fugs cat up just enough to slide out into the open where he bared his glistening fangs in fury.

Riverstone stared at the redish sky "It's nice most of the time , but where there is joy and laughter there is also de.ath and despair" Riverstone replied grimly.

The stranger huffed, blood trickling from the scratches on her stomach, "Relax furball. I'm done messing with ya."

Vineslash gently brushed against Riverstone, "Well, at least ya got a large, nice family. I expect it'd be hectic though," she mrrowed good-humoredly.

Riverstone smiled at Vineslash. She felt calm around her. / I wonder how the others are doing?/

Skypaw released his jaws from the cat's back, and spat out some hairs that got into his mouth. He jumped off and turned back to the stranger, confused as to why they suddenly stopped.

Lightningstrike frowned and meowed, "Who are you and where did you come from?"

"What a quaint question to ask," she huffed, "The name's Wolfeye. I come from RiverClan, StarClan told me to follow the storm. Didn't think they meant it literally," she chuckled, twitching her tail.

Straightening his stance, he questioned, "Riverclan? I've never heard of such clan."

Wolfeye twitched her whiskers, "You'll know soon... very soon," she said gruffly.

Skypaw looked at Wolfeye, and managed to catch his breath. "I'm Skypaw, from Iceclan."

Wolfeye nodded, "I assume the white tom is IceClan as well?"

Lightningstrike shot his apprentice a glare. "How do I know you aren't lying? You could just be making this all up."

Wolfeye shrugged, "You could think I'm lying and die, or get your lazy a*ses up and get moving."

Lightningstrike growled then he replied, "I've heard that one enough to know there's gotta be something...I'm Lightningstrike. There's more clan cats up here." he turned and began back to the camp

Skypaw flinched at Lightningstrike's cold glare and meekly stepped back a few feet.

Wolfeye nodded and followed.

Skypaw quietly kept behind Wolfeye and Lightningstrike as they walked. He bet his cranky mentor would scold him for disclosing information.

(I'm really tired... sorry guys, but I gotta sleep Dx )
