Maybe he doesn't like your backgrounds. They're sorta vague and abstract. Your ideas are top notch though - real original - they just need a more refined execution.
Your color choices are a little garish too. I don't mean to be offensive in any way - just trying to help cultivate your artistic talents.

A guy called Birdy has a good tutorial that could help with the color compatibilities and whatnot.

Alright, thanks man. I really appreciate the constructive criticism. I'm aware that my coloring isn't super good, I'm working on it though.
