YES holy cow it's the most infuriating thing to get told. After going through all the trouble of creating and personalizing the character, someone comparing them to another is just beyond irritating.

Honestly I don't know how people can compare your OC's to other characters. Your characters are completely original and unique, and are nothing like or even resemble any characters I know of. :/ And that includes their relationships and stories.
But hey, I've seen people make the smallest most stupid comparisons. "Oh, your OC has blue eyes? Why that's exactly like so and so..."
I mean seriously.....
