Rainstorm by Dragonologist

Omg it was ages ago since I've drawn in the dragonology style. I've improved so much since then. I drew this freehand. The only references I've used are illustrations in "Dragonology: Field Guide To Dragons" book (I've only studied them, I didn't trace) and a ref of Rainstorm on the 3DS for the colors.
I'm really happy with how this came out, it was so much fun to draw in my favorite style again.

Here's some information about Rainstorm:
Rainstorm is a friendly but verry arrogant and selfish dragon. He loves to create storms and to fly in them, and he doesn't really care if others are bothered by him. He gets bored easily and he can't concentrate for a long time. So don't expect him to have long conversations with you. He gets annoyed quite easily and can be really rude and kind of a bully. But if you manage to get friends with him, he's a pretty cool guy. He'll help his friends when they're in trouble and will do his best to listen to them if they need someone to talk to (don't get angry with him if he gets distracted, he really tries). He travels quite a lot, and he is very good at telling stories.

omg you have no idea how much i love the dragonology books!! i still have stickers from it on my bedside cabinet thing!!!! AMAZING!

I'm trying to collect all the dragonology books, but there aren't any in the netherlands anymore ;-;
Luckily I found some in waterstones in London the two times I went there :D

It looks cool, but I highly prefer his cartoony look. He looks kinda creepy in this style to me... xD I'm not a big fan of the whiskers either, they look like they aren't supposed to be there. It's still a very nice pic, you've really improved!

This looks amazing, I love it! Those scales and textures are perfect. I recognised it as the dragonology style before I even tapped on it. :)
