"You could say it started with my upbringing. My childhood was spent between the walls of perhaps the greatest fortress in all of Orkos. In its grounds, I was tutored by the most famed of masters, tuned into the finest of soldiers. My regime was strict and my existence there was kept a secret until I was of an age to grace the battle field. That is not to say I never saw the outside world, however. My master took me wherever she could and wherever we went, people passed her knowing glances. My name was never spoken but they all knew, even then, who I was and who I would eventually become.

Or maybe a different person would have made different decisions and instead of facing death, they would be blessed with eternal glory in this same spot.
But I digress. It is my tale to tell, my life to bring to closure. My tale doesn't begin with my upbringing. I will start just a moment before it, about a hundred years ago. It was in this moment when the cogs of my fate started their work and the fabled walls filled the blanks with my name. And that moment began when I tried to make glass out of mud..."
