One thing that's interesting about Lucario in SSB is that some of his moves seem to be inspired by some form of Tai-Chi. I should know 'cause I took two classes of it before. Just a fun observation. :)

^ Just martial arts. While in Tae Kwan Do I attended a mixed martial arts tournament. I watched the katas intently and, to be frank, I've seen those techniques spread out across most of the attending fighters. Way to represent though.

^Of course, I understand. I'm just saying there are some similarities between the two, though you're right in that various techniques and movements are shared between multiple martial arts styles, and his moveset could be inspired by any number of those.

A lot of fictional fighters have moves based off paricular fighting styles.

Haha, okay. So they were fighting and a ball came out of nowhere and Wii Fit Trainer wanted to do that to Lucario.
