i used to have the same game but a different disk that was hella scratched up and it still worked??
also it reads the game when i go to the gc menu and then says it cant be read right after the first 2 company things when the game starts up

i even threw the old disk down a rocky hill and it still worked
also nobodys touched the new one for weeks so idk whats up with it
(i tried cleaning it off at least 13 times and nothing happened, no scratches on it either)

aw,really? Maybe the previous owner used action replay with it? (if you got it used?) maybe you can return It & get another one? (or just buy another one? :p but that would suck)

this might just be me, but in my experience games don't work until they get scratched. It's weird, don't try it.
