The demon war lord Izanami seems to have a deeper backstory than being implanted and possessing the Mobian, Maid Gunner.
In Light to All, Dragon Slayer the Wolf reveals Izanami is actually a physical manifestation of who she was going to become, a tyrant named Solomon.
Much like Dragon Slayer, Solomon is a witch.
In battle, Solomon uses a demonic version of Dragon Slayer's claymore, and darkness-aligned magic.
