Baby Birdy Is Gone... by Pearl Flygon
Today I found a very Young robin in a hole in my back yard. I put him in the grass and watched him, to see if his mom would come back, nothing answered his chirping. Later, I found him barely alive laying on his back. I held him and hand-fed him water from an eye dropper, I held him a while and tried getting him his strength back. I made a makeshift nest in a cardboard box and hoped he'd get rest. after I ate, I found him dead. We buried him in the flowerbed. RIP Poppi, The orphan baby Robin.

That happend to me with a baby snake although he lived about a year he/she was like 3-5" idk i found an egg one day and incubated(sp) under a heating lamp and it hatched. Out came a baby garter snake or black racer idk
i named him/her swifty(lol dont ask) he/she was fast o-o

Awwww. D: You did the right thing trying to help it, lots of people assume the parents will abandon them if you touch them (which is untrue) and just let em' die. If you find another one try getting bird formula for it, they sell it everywhere and all you do is microwave it and feed them w/ a spoon. ouo

awww thats sad :'( sorry to hear that
when I was 12 my sister and I found two baby robins, one died but the other one survived! It used stay close to people and would even land on our shoulders. It was so cool! but little by little it became more wild and left us. even so, It was a neat experience.
