That's my que, isn't it? I walked up to the Elder as the whole pack stared. I guess I should introduce myself, but honestly, I'm a little busy at the moment. When I slowly stopped and bowed to the Elder, he placed the crown on my head. I guess that's a 'big moment' to everyone, because they all gaspee in amazement. Seriously though, it's a few leaves held together with silk. Not too special if you ask me.

I must have dozed off, because the next thing I know, the Elder is barking,
"The burning ceremony shall commence!"
Ah, the burning ceremony. The sensation of a searing hot rod stabbing through the fur and marking our pack's mark has to be the best feeling in the world. The moment I felt it, I could've screamed and ran. But somehow I managed to pull it together. Afterwards, my staff was handed to me, finally claiming me as Alpha.
I guess now would be a good time to introduce myself. My name's not Ackley. It's Tess. I'm a girl. (cont.)

And girls are not allowed to be Alpha. This leads to that, and all the sudden, I'm faking a gender! Alphas in our pack aren't allowed to 'have babies' so it's not like anyone checks.
(My mom's telling me to get off so I have to end it there. :3 Hope it's good so far! And yes, she's meant to be very sassy and this is definetly not a story written in serious context)
